JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Marketing Assistant – Part Time
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Marketing Director
The Marketing Assistant supports the functions and objectives of the Marketing Department
Professional Requirements: Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment; Excellent time management skills with attention to deadlines; Goal-oriented with an upbeat and enthusiastic personality; Strong communication skills; Love of the arts and sense of humor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Track all Marketing expenses - Generate purchase orders and check requests to ensure timely payment of vendors. Maintain spreadsheets for tracking all Marketing expenses. Assure they are correct and up to date so that CFO and Director of Marketing can make accurate projections.
- Box Office - Assist Box office with answering phones and selling tickets/working will call at concerts as needed
- Database management - Compile mailing lists for Marketing materials and Provide call lists for telemarketing. Enter new records in database as result of prospecting efforts, work to maintain integrity of patron records in the system to eliminate duplicate records.
- Marketing Mailings - Assist with various marketing projects by labeling postcards and stuffing envelopes as needed.
- Other Duties – Other duties as assigned
