Opening Night With Midori
In his only concerto for violin, Brahms presents a formidable challenge for even the most virtuosic musician. World-renowned violinist Midori is sure to enrapture you as she effortlessly conquers the concerto once thought unplayable. The VSO will also perform Kabalevsky's energetic and assertive Colas Breugnon Overture as well as notorious scenes from Prokofiev's dramatic rendering of Romeo and Juliet.
