When you bring your children (or grandchildren) to a Peanut Butter & Jam Family Concert at the Virginia Symphony, not only will you experience the beauty and excitement of live symphonic music during the concert, but you’ll also have a lot of fun even before it begins!

Starting one hour before each concert, the Sandler Center lobby becomes a-buzz with music, crafts and activities designed to enhance the concert for both the young and the young-at-heart. You will be able to see our instruments up close at the instrument “petting zoo,” listen to young musicians from around Hampton Roads perform, create crafts, play games and more.
