Peanut Butter & Jam Family Series at The Sandler Center

When you bring your children (or grandchildren) to a Peanut Butter & Jam Family Concert at the Virginia Symphony, not only will you experience the beauty and excitement of live symphonic music during the concert, but you’ll also have a lot of fun even before it begins!

Starting one hour before each concert, the Sandler Center lobby becomes a-buzz with music, crafts and activities designed to enhance the concert for both the young and the young-at-heart. You will be able to see our instruments up close at the instrument “petting zoo,” listen to young musicians from around Hampton Roads perform, create crafts, play games and more. It’s a great way to round out an afternoon of musical fun at the Symphony!
