Throughout the year, the Virginia Symphony holds a number of special events for donors and other friends of the VSO. From galas to cocktail parties, all of these events feature exclusive performances by VSO musicians as well as fun and festivity with good friends and symphony supporters. VSSGW Annual Meeting

The Virginia Symphony Society of Greater Williamsburg supports the VSO each year through a variety of events and programs in the Williamsburg area. The annual meeting offers members the opportunity to elect new officers for the coming year as well as enjoying a performance from principal flautist Debra Wendells Cross.

Open to all members of the VSSGW.

 

Chamber Music Party

Each year, Virginia Symphony musicians host an evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and chamber music for members of the Conductor’s Circle and above. Join musicians and symphony friends for this festive musical celebration.

VSO League Annual Meeting

The Virginia Symphony Orchestra League supports the VSO in a variety of ways each year through events and gatherings in the Greater Norfolk area as well as serving as frequent volunteers in the VSO’s office. The annual meeting offers members the opportunity to socialize with one another as well as elect new officers for the coming year.

Season-End Board Celebration

For more than 30 years, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Opera have partnered to bring world-class music to Hampton Roads. To celebrate the conclusion of another successful season, board members from each of the two organizations will enjoy cocktails, light fare, and musical interludes from VSO and Virginia Opera musicians.

Open to members of the Virginia Symphony Board of Directors and the Virginia Opera Board of Directors.
