On Sunday, February 9th, our Virginia Symphony League Social was held at College Cross. We had a good crowd, the food was great and everyone had a very nice time. Pavel Ilyashov, Virginia Symphony Orchestra violinist, performed for us and he was wonderful. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful orchestra with such awesome musicians, right here in our midst. It reminds us what our League is all about. Our support of the VSO is so very important and is appreciated by our VSO musicians and staff.

For the past two years, we have worked to revive our League, and we appreciate your involvement in those efforts. Now, it is time for our Nominating Committee to come together in order to form a new slate of officers to lead us. We cannot proceed without your help. Please be thinking about our upcoming elections in May and volunteer your services, or nominate someone you know, who is willing to be involved in the League leadership. The future of our League depends on you.

Fran Pedersen
Virginia Symphony League President
