Give Local 757

Give Local with the VSO on May 3!

The Virginia Symphony is participating in Give Local 757, a day of giving for local nonprofits. We’ll be raising awareness about our programs, earning support, and competing to win additional funding from the Peninsula Community Foundation…and we need your help! Here’s what you can do:

  • Go to GiveLocal757.Org to set up a giving reminder for May 3.
  • Tell your friends about Give Local—and why the VSO matters to you! Help us spread the word.
  • On May 3, make a gift to the VSO through GiveLocal757.Org or through a special link on our website. You can also call us at 757-213-1417 on May 3, and we’ll process your gift for you.
  • Keep an eye on the VSO’s social media and share our Give Local 757 posts. Add a comment to let your friends know why you support the VSO!

Your help is essential—the more people who know about the event and make gifts on May 3, the more additional funding we can win! Check out the full list of prizes here.

Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is a group of Symphony patrons who have expressed an interest in supporting the Virginia Symphony Orchestra after their lifetime through Estate Planning or Planned Giving.

While the Virginia Symphony Orchestra is not currently able to manage estate planning or planned giving vehicles, the Development staff is happy to work with you and your financial advisor to find the right option for you.

If you have already named the Virginia Symphony Orchestra in your will or estate plans, we would like to have the opportunity to thank you and invite you to be a member of the Legacy Society. Please contact our Director of Development, Brittany Lavalleur at blavalleur@virginiasymphony.org or at 757-213-1412.
